Each water session is one on one to maximize instruction time and assess the individual accurately. Each student should be familiar with the "safety procedures and guidelines" before commencement of any class (see safety tab). Once the basics are learned, mastered, and evaluated, we proceed to the water based instruction with the assistance of a Personal Water Craft as soon as possible. We recommend that ground classes be one on one as well, to maximize each students time and learning. However, in special circumstances we will consider taking up to three ground students in one class, though the price per person remains the same.

No refunds, credits or discounts are given for now shows or late arrivals. No refunds  will be given for gift certificates. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of lesson. Fees will be imposed.

We will not go out in sustained wind over 25 MPH, with gusts of 15 mph.

Each student must wear safety and kiteboarding gear as approved by PASA, BW Insurance and Gorge Gradients Kiteboarding School.

No class will commence without payment. Each student must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability, a Declaration of Fitness and an Acknowledgement of reading and understanding our safety publications before lessons begin.

We comply with PASA's Safety Guidelines, Emergency Procedures, and Kiteboarding School Regulations.  To learn more about PASA (Professional Air Sports Association), please visit www.pasakiteboarding.org.

Students must be fluent in English to take our lessons and must know how to swim to take the water class.
